Oh, the smell of lilacs
So good it never fails to make anyone fall in love
I once met lilacs in a northern country
I was young then
I was not an exception to be captivated
I couldn’t help bringing a sapling home
And I tried to naturalize it in a pot here
To my excitement It grew and brought out flowers
But to my deep disappointment
For reasons not known to me no smell came out
It has ever since been my cherished dream to go back to that country

Oh wow…you have lilacs in bloom already. I wish you could capture the smell for the internet also. Lovely!

For now, I will use my imagination.

As Einstein said, “imagination embraces the entire world” and “imagination is more important than knowledge.” 😀

Hmmm. I don’t know these Einstein quotes. 🤓

I like the second one. It seems that it takes people having imagination to come up with new ideas that become knowledge. 😉

It’s only one quote 🙂
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”

Ah, I stand corrected. Sometime, I like to search on Einstein quotes on Google or on Pinterest. They are pretty cool. The other person it is fun to search on is Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee… A very good fighter. Was, I know 😦

Yeah. He also had an interesting way of looking at the world. If you go on Pinterest and search on his quotes they have many good ones with some cool graphics.

I will. I have a very new account on Pinterest, but I’ve really hadn’t time to go there

It’s fun. If you like to do projects and crafts, you can spend a lot of time there. I use it mostly for finding motivational sayings and ideas. It helps me keep focused on staying fit.

I don’t have so much time, but I will try to go there 🙂

No rush, when you have time or if you are looking for something in particular. Life is busy, right?

Thank you, Monica. ❤ I’m glad you think so. Actually, I’ve been back to that country (the US Midwest bordering with Canada) a number of times, but it was always in summer. It has to be in a short period of time in May to enjoy the smell there… 🙂

You are getting me so excited, Monica. I have French Lilac bushes and when they bloom, every year I say I wish I could bottle that smell so I have it all year round. It is HEAVEN!!! Oh come on Spring, let’s go!!! I want to smell my Lilacs!!! Thank you SO much for this post. Ahhhhhh ….. Lilacs.
PS Someday I believe the capability to smell through the computer will be a reality. Let’s see if that happens. Dream on!!! 🙂
